Stretching far out into the Pacific Ocean, White Rock’s landmark pier is a destination unto itself. On December 20, 2018, the pier was severely damaged and severed in half by a windstorm. After 10 months, the pier has re-opened and a ceremony to celebrate will take place this Saturday, September 21 to say thank you to the community, businesses, and Province of British Columbia who all contributed funds to help repair and reopen the pier and pay for costs not covered by insurance.
Celebrate the reopening of Canada’s longest Pier from noon to 5 p.m at this free, family-friendly event.
