Get into a Valentine’s frame of mind this weekend with a fun pop up event hosted by a creative group of East Beach businesses.
This Saturday, February 2 and Sunday, February 3 between 11am and 5pm, let your creative juices flow with a series of unique make and take Valentine’s themed DIY’s and a delicious snack or sit down meal! All of the businesses are within walking distance, along White Rock’s East Beach, and the weekend promises to be a lot of fun.
Cottage Living
Pop into Cottage Living and create a fun (and easy) Valentines gift for your sweetheart … or yourself! For just $20, the lovely staff will lead you through creating your very own set of Valentine Wooden Blocks using paint and image transfer. Cottage Living is a charming shop, on East Beach’s Marine Drive, specializing in restoring furniture through the use of paint techniques. They also offer a series of fun adult classes teaching embellishment techniques, pottery, decoupage, image transfer and more.
