DESCRIPTION:Peninsula Productions is proud to present “The Realistic Joneses”\, Will Eno’s quirky modern comedy\, one of New York Times’s Best Plays of 2012. \nIn “The Realistic Joneses”\, we meet Bob and Jennifer and their new neighbours\, John and Pony\, two suburban couples who have even more in common than their identical homes and their shared last names. As their relationships begin to irrevocably intertwine\, the Joneses must decide between their idyllic fantasies and their imperfect realities. This contemporary comedy explores how our joys and sorrows – and how we choose to face them – can come to define our lives. \nThe reading is directed by the wonderful and multi-talented Corina Akeson\, a Jessie-nominated actor and sound designer\, producer\, production manager\, director and graduate of Studio 58. Corina is a co-founder of Vancouver’s Classic Chic theatre company\, and designed sound for Peninsula’s production of “The Belfast Girls”. \nShow times: 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
